Camp Care-A-Lot is investing in the future central Illinois communities by enriching the lives of the children and former camper teen LEADERS, who attend camp. We seek to remedy concerns these children experience daily with instruction on conflict resolution, teamwork, anger management and other skills that will assist them in making appropriate decisions in all aspects of their lives. We also provide scholarships to former campers who want to continue education at college, trade school or in an apprenticeship.
Camp Care-A-Lot depends on financial assistance from local businesses, civic groups, individuals and some grants. We are not a federal agency and are not a member of the United Way. We are touched and honored to receive amazingly generous contributions from them, allowing us to send children ages 6-10 to camp, to have the former camper LEADERS take part in camp and the year round leadership training program and to allow former campers to receive scholarships. We will make you all proud of us as we put your funds to great use.
