Volunteering at Camp Care-A-Lot

MONETARY DONATIONS AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT (see volunteer opportunities) ARE IMPERATIVE FOR CAMP TO CONTINUE.

Each year, Camp Care-A-Lot also needs a variety of in-kind contributions.

Free tickets on airlines for out of town staff (have you accrued miles and can't use them?)

Postage stamps

White, blue and yellow computer and copier paper

Luggage for campers- good condition, wheels- no small tote bags, zippers must be working and luggage needs to be clean and odor free

Socks and “gym” shoes for campers (shoes sized for 8-11 year old girls and boys).

Meals for staff orientation (lunch and dinner the Saturday night before camp begins and light breakfast items for both Saturday and Sunday mornings)

• All clothing, shoes, linens and bathing suits should be clean, divided in to bags labeled BOY or GIRL and in good condition. Gently used apparel is welcome. NO WINTER CLOTHING, NO ADULT OR TODDLER CLOTHING, PLEASE!
